M23 496 pit closure project location to support multiple remediation and reclamation project objectives for the North Parachute area
of operations in Garfield County. The form is also being submitted to describe the in-situ remediation approach planned for the
material on the M23 496 well pad. A more detailed explanation of this project is provided in the attached document. |

09/11/2020 | For a minimum of one-year, Operator shall measure the depth to ground water in the monitoring well monthly in order to assess seasonal variations of the groundwater table. Additionally, the well shall be monitored for visible hydrocarbons either with a bailer, skimming absorbent sock, or other. These measurements and observations shall be submitted quarterly to the COGCC via Sundry eForm 4. Operator shall notify the COGCC EPS staff immediately upon visible or olfactory detection of hydrocarbons. |
