There will be no off-site disposal of drill cuttings trench contents. All drill cuttings will be treated to meet COGCC 915-1 cleanup standards and will be disposed of on-site. In compliance with Rule 911.a, a Form 27 will be submitted to document final closure of the Federal 298-13-1 drill cuttings trench, and to convey sampling data that supports closure of the cuttings trench. Under the Pit Design and Construction Information section, the total trench capacity (including 2' of freeboard) is ~63,460 bbls. The total trench volume is 15,190 cu. yds.. Similarly, the daily flow rate has been estimated / converted from cubic yards to barrels. This calculated volume assumes an approximate drill time of 155 days required to drill the 16 new wells; therefore, the average daily volume of drill cuttings is ~409 bbls per day. In addition, the "Operational Lifespan per manufacturer specs (years)" is a required value to complete/submit this Form 15; however, this specification is not applicable to an earthen pit where there are no primary or secondary liners. Therefore, a default value of 1,000 years was used. Please see the approved Form 2A and the Final Director's Recommendation of Approval for re-development of the Federal 298-13-1 well pad (see attached).
