In accordance with the COGCC Rules 910.b.(3) C, D, and E, WPX would like to ask for COGCC permission to analyze the confirmation sample(s) for the abbreviated list of the Table 910-1 analytes which would include TPH, BTEX, PAHs, EC, SAR, and pH and the background samples would be analyzed for EC, SAR, and pH. This allowed produced water to migrate out into the earthen SPCC containment structure. When the release was discovered, production personnel had vac trucks dispatched to the location to pull the remaining fluids from the compromised tank. All of the release was contained within the earthen containment structure. The soil impacts are 2-3” deep. Therefore, the impacted soil was treated in place with a bioremediation product to levels which comply with Table 910-1 standards. The impacted area will be sampled for the abbreviated list of analytes as approved with the initial Form 19.
