The well produced until 1957 & then was plugged & abandoned on October 9, 1957 by the operator. The well was re-entered by East Cheyenne Gas Storage, LLC("ECGS") for the purpose of converting same to an observation well to support storage operations. However, due to challenges encountered during the conversions process, ECGS chose instead to re-plug and abandon this well on December 10, 2010. ECGS filed notice of intent to plug on January 26, 2010 (ref: COGCC Document No. 1760398). ECGS subsequently filed a notice of intent to reenter and convert this well to a monitor well on June 8, 2010 (Ref: COGCC Document No. 1725955). Due to the challenges mentioned above, the well was plugged and abandoned in accordance with the notice of intent to plug and abandon filed in January 2010. ECGS failed to file the "Subsequent Report of Abandonment” and is now filing the final report for abandonment of the well. Note: Schneider Energy Services, Inc. operated all facilities and wells for ECGS during the time period when the Schwake A-3 well was reentered and subsequently plugged and abandoned. Schneider Energy also managed the reentry and plugging and abandonment activities of this well. At the completion of this work ECGS did not receive copies of cementing tickets and cement bond logs from Schneider Energy and have been unable to obtain this information from Schneider Energy after multiple requests for same.
