Laboratory analytical results indicated that the TPH, BTEX, pH, and EC concentrations in all confirmation surface soil samples were less than or within the COGCC Table 910-1 allowable levels. On September 1, 2015, following the removal of impacted soil around the wellhead, six confirmation sidewall soil samples (N01@1’, N02@1’, E01@1’, W01@1’, S01@3’, and S02@3’) and two confirmation base soil samples (B01@5’, B02@2’) were collected from the excavation and submitted for laboratory analysis. In addition, six confirmation soil samples (SS6C@2”, SS7C@2”, SS7D@2”, SS8C@2”, SS8D@2”, and SS9B@2”) were collected from the shallow scraped area surrounding the excavation and were submitted for laboratory analysis. Laboratory analytical results indicated that the TPH, BTEX, pH, and EC concentrations were less than or within the COGCC Table 910-1 allowable levels at the extent of the excavation and shallow scraped area. Approximately 210 cubic yards of soil was excavated and transported to the Kerr McGee land treatment facility in Weld County, Colorado, and approximately 180 cubic yards of soil was excavated and transported to the Buffalo Ridge Landfill in Keenesburg, Colorado, for disposal. The general site layout, release location, spray release area, excavation and scraped area dimensions, and soil sample locations are depicted on the Excavation Site Map attached as Figure 2.
