This is the well where surface casing parted at ~78’ BGL and we air drilled down with that dual rotary rig. So, we ran an ElectroMagnetic Survey to determine depth and distance to the casing stub and turns out we got down beside it with the top of the “fish” being at ~45’. Our plan now is to continue down beside the original surface casing and INTERCEPT the old openhole below the surface casing at around 200-ft then continue with P&A procedures as outlined in the original Form 6 we have. My question: Do we need to file a new “Intercept” Form 2 like we did on the Ernie Adamson? We are rigged up on top of the old well but missed it by less than a foot. We plan on setting a new string of 9-5/8” from surface to ~180’ then drilling out and into the old open hole at ~200’-250’. Please call to discuss if needed. Thanks!
