Liner Material: 28 mil reinforced polypropylene liner layed over an eight ounce nonwoven geotextile felt pad. The liner and felt pad were manufactured by Western Industries, Inc. in Miles City, Montana. The liner and felt pad were installed in June 2008. The pit is fully fenced, has a grid of steel cables across the top of the pit and is surrounded by an earthen berm. � Y � � � � � This pit is used to contain water produced during the production of natural gas from the CSOC-697-12-1 well. The produced water captured in this pit is removed by truck as needed and taken to a commercial water treatment facility for processing. I currently utilize Danish Flats, Cisco, Utah, Greenleaf Envirnomental Services, DeBeque, Colorado and Deer Creek Disposal, Grand Junction, Colorado for disposal of produced water. geotextile felt pad 8 0 400784065 In the summer of 2013 I removed all contents from this pit, steam cleaned the pit liner, inspected the pit liner and finding no tears or weak spots put the liner back into service. In the summer of 2015 I plan to remove all contents from this pit, steam clean the pit liner, inspect the pit liner and lay a second liner of the existing liner if necessary. I also plan to place the bird netting over this pit.
