Produced water with some condensate flowed out of the top of the tank and into the earthen SPCC containment structure. When the release was discovered, production personnel had a vac truck dispatched to the location to pull the tank and vacuum off the free standing liquids in the earthen SPCC containment structure. The entire release was contained within the earthen containment structure. Approximately 25 barrels of produced water and condensate were recovered. No fluids migrated out of the SPCC containment structure. Due to the high paraffin content, the produced water tank had to be steam cleaned in order to remove the residual contamination on the tank. During the process, a vacuum truck was also on location to recover the fluids from the tank cleaning process.
