Sidetrack:

• Is the creation of a new wellbore extending from an existing wellbore

• Gets a new sidetrack code on API number

• If hole was lost

  • May receive verbal approval
  • Follow up with Form 2 and Form 6 (Plugging Report)

• Requires deviated drilling plan if directional

  • Rule 321
