Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.) 34-60-132 requires oil and gas operators in Colorado to disclose the chemicals used in downhole operations. Operators report chemical products used in downhole operations to the ECMC on a location by location basis. Information provided by Chemical Manufacturers and the oil and gas operator are aggregated by the ECMC into a chemical disclosure list for release to the public. Pursuant to C.R.S. 34-60-132, the ECMC Chemical Registry Database is searchable by the following fields: oil and gas location, well API Number (returns oil and gas location), Operator, Chemical name/Cas #, County or disclosure date.
