9/12/2023 | Working pad surface (WPS) is constructed so that any potential flows will flow to the northeast of the WPS, away from Western Box Elder Creek. The elevation on the pad and adjacent road that forms the border on 3 sides of this pad is relatively flat but slopes to the northeast. Chemical totes contain built in secondary containment and are made of steel. A compressor skid will be utilized temporarily at this location, which will be located on a trailer. The trailer will be placed inside secondary containment. The secondary containment is sufficient to hold the entire volume of all the chemicals on the compressor skid, plus substantial freeboard. The vegetation from the interim reclamation phase is very well established, which would also aid in preventing a release from reaching another drainage to the east of the WPS. |
