04/05/2016 | 1) COGCC approves the beneficial use of remediated soil from the western half of the landfarm associated with the historical release (Spill/Release Point ID 442534) at the Nolte 14-43d pad location (COGCC Facility ID 324087) to use as backfill/bedding material at Caerus ongoing excavation associated with the High Mesa Waterline Release (Spill/Release Point ID 445122), AS LONG AS WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM THE LANDOWNER (High Mesa Waterline spill location) IS SECURED.
2) There is a gap of information regarding the Nolte 14-43d spill. Form 19 supplemental (doc #400910498) reported confirmation sampling on the excavation (walls, bottom); Form 04 doc #400875227 requested approval to move soil to the Nolte 14-796 (COGCC Facility ID #435806); no additional documentation was found in the database, since October 2015. Please submit via Form 04 (or resubmit if submitted previously) a) An update of remedial activities (landfarming) conducted to date on the Nolte 14-43 pad, and b) An update of remedial activities (if any) on the Nolte 14-796.
