5/22/2013 | Stormwater BMPs will also be implemented as part of the use of the fresh water pit. Straw wattles will be placed on the outside of the security fence to help minimize stormwater erosion and erosion that could be caused by loss of water from the pit. In addition, PDC will seed the berm sidewalls and the areas immediately surrounding the pit with a seed that meets the landowner’s approval. After the pit is constructed, PDC will evaluate the need for additional erosion control measures. |

5/22/2013 | PDC will construct a hot wire livestock type fence around the perimeter of the pit. The surrounding area where the pit will be constructed is used primarily as livestock pasture. The fence will help to keep livestock out of the pit as well as provide a means of security. The type of fence that will be constructed will be the same as the existing livestock fencing that is currently in place throughout the property. |

5/22/2013 | As part of the construction of the pit, a metal sign will be installed adjacent to the edge of the pit designating the pit as a “Freshwater-Only Pit” and that E&P waste is prohibited. PDC’s operator number and a contact phone number will also be included. |
