| Wildlife | Form: (02A ) 400274302 5/31/2012 | COGCC Rule 1204 (a) (1) relating to operator installation and
utilization of black bear dumpsters and receptacles for is certainly
applicable in this area and we encourage operators to comply with this
rule to avoid human-bear conflicts at their drill sites.

| Wildlife | Form: (02A ) 400274302 5/31/2012 | The wells are located in mapped elk winter range and our
recommendation for these facilities is avoid new construction between
December 1 and April 15th.

| Noise mitigation | Form: (04 ) 402847100 2/11/2022 | AusCo will comply with sound emission regulations as set forth in COGCC 400 Series Operating and Reporting 423. NOISE Regulations. Prior to project start up, AusCo will conduct an ambient noise survey and gather noise level measurements at distances of 350 feet and 1000 feet from the project site. Measurements will be taken on the north, east and west sides of the project area. Upon start up, additional noise survey measurements will be taken to determine the increase, if any, in operational noise from the site equipment. Should the operational noise levels be in violation of applicable COGCC standards, AusCo will implement mitigation measures to decrease noise to acceptable levels.
The proposed electrical generation equipment will be housed in fully enclosed sound attenuated transport trailers, and be equipped with noise reduction exhaust systems that will reduce sound levels to reasonable minimums. The computers used in the process will be contained in smaller fully enclosed sound attenuated trailers, parked adjacent to the generator trailers. The computer trailers will not generate noise, as there are only computers housed in them. Cooling radiators and fans for the computers will be mounted under the computer trailers in excavated trenches, and by design and location, will generate a minimum of operational noise. |
| Drilling/Completion Operations | Form: (04 ) 402847100 2/11/2022 | AusCo does not plan to install permanent lighting at the site for the proposed project. Generator trailers and computer trailers will be equipped with internal lighting, with on/off capability. There will be lighting at the entry doors of all trailers to allow safe entry during dark hours. Exterior lighting on the trailers will be turned off when not in use.
Routine maintenance and repairs will normally be scheduled for daylight hours. In the event of a dark hours repair, temporary lighting will be plugged into the trailers. The temporary lighting will be shielded, and diverted downward and inward to minimize light pollution. |
| Interim Reclamation | Form: (04 ) 402847100 2/11/2022 | AusCo will comply with applicable soil protection regulations as set forth in COGCC 1002.b Soils Removal and Segregation. AusCo will separate and store the topsoil horizon, or the top six (6) inches, whichever is deeper, and mark or document stockpile locations to facilitate subsequent reclamation. The stockpile will be seeded and protected from erosion and disturbance. |
| General Housekeeping | Form: (04 ) 403803357 6/5/2024 | Materials and fluids will be stored neat and orderly. Wastes will be temporarily stored in sealed containers and regulary collected and disposed of at offsite, suitable facilities. Prompt cleanup of spills will be required to minimize any commingling of waste materials with stormwater runoff. Routine maintenance will be limited to fueling and lubrication of equipment. Drip pans will be used during routine fueling and maintenance to contain spills or leaks. Any waste product from maintenance will be containerized and transported offsite for disposal or recycling. There will be no major equipment overhauls conducted onsite. Cleanup will consist of patrolling the roadways, access areas, and other work areas to pick up trash, scrap debris, other discarded materials, and any contaminated soil. These materials will be disposed of properly.` |
