The moisture content of any drill cuttings in a cuttings pit, trench, or pile shall be as low as practicable to prevent accumulation of liquids greater than de minimis amounts. At the time of closure, the drill cuttings must also meet the applicable standards of table 910-1.

Operator shall notify the COGCC once cuttings re-location has commenced and then again when all cuttings for re-location to the MDP #2 Pad has been completed using the Form 42 (as described in Rule 316C.m. Notice of Completion of Form 2/2A Permit Conditions) and by emailing COGCC (dave.kubeczko@state.co.us).

Based on a review of the information provided, it appears that no further action is necessary at this time and COGCC approves the closure request. Should conditions at the site indicate contaminant concentrations in soils exceeding COGCC standards, or, if groundwater is found to be significantly impacted, further investigation and/or remediation activities may be required at the site. Final Reclamation should comply with 100O Rules. Location/Facility closure shall meet table 915-1 cleanup standards Protection of Groundwater Soil Screening Level Concentrations.
