11/16/2011 | BMP 1: Fiber wattles will surround any stockpiled or lose soil removed from above the existing 15-40-17-1X bore hThe proposed project is located on a level, disturbed/ reseeded well pad location. During the onsite visit on August 25, 2011 vegetative cover in the ROW was visually estimated at 35%. The proposed project area contains no riparian or aquatic habitats. Site specific BMPs should be installed pre-construction and during the construction process. BMPs would be maintained or amended by Kinder Morgan as site conditions change throughout the construction and reclamation process. A map showing the BMP location is attached. Site specific BMPs will be installed pre-construction and during the construction process and will continue to be maintained until vegetation reaches 80% of the pre-construction cover.
Any disturbed soils willl be re-vegetated with an approved Forest Service seed mixture with seeding rates for drill or broadcast seeding.
The site will be monitored for weeds. Any Montezuma and state listed noxious weed occurances will be treated with proper eradicaction measures.
The site will be monitored for erosion. BMPs will be added if necessary to control erosion until the site is stable per CDPHE standards.
