2) Notify the local emergency dispatch or the local governmental designee of any natural gas flaring.
3) If flaring will continue more than 6 months, submit updated requests to flare to COGCC on Form 4 (Sundry Notice), which discusses timing to connect to sales line, plans to develop infrastructure, and justification for continued venting/flaring.
4) The operator is required to obtain and maintain any required air permits from CDPHE.
5) The venting or flaring volumes shall be reported by Form 7, Operator’s Monthly Report of Operations.
6) Provide gas analyses including H2S within 30 days of commencing flaring.
7) Comply with COGCC Policy - Notice to Operators Reporting Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Clarifications for Implementation of COGCC Rule 607 and BLM Onshore Order No. 6.
