HOW REMEDIATE:  Subsequent soil samples will be collected and analyzed for SAR and EC during the fall of 2022 to monitor natural attenuation. If progress is not shown, Scout will evaluate alternative remediation approaches.
 
INITIAL ACTION:  While back flowing well/lateral line, CO2 expanded when it contacted the warm produced water and caused the back flow tank to develop a leak, releasing the produced water to the ground.
 
RECLAMATION PLAN:  No reclamation to spill area is currently necessary.
 
SOURCE REMOVED:  No soil is intended for removal. Subsequent soil samples will be collected and analyzed for SAR and EC during the fall of 2022 to monitor natural attenuation.
