HOW REMEDIATE:  Subsequent soil samples analyzed for SAR and EC at the SS1-SS5 sample locations were collected on August 12, 2020 to monitor natural attenuation. While select SAR and EC concentrations have come within allowable range, there are still SAR and EC impacts at the SS1 sample location and SAR impacts at the SS4 and SS5 sample locations. These 3 locations will be sampled during 2021 to further monitor natural attenuation. SAR and EC impacted soils will be treated in-situ by Natural Attenuation. After initial water wash seasonal precipitation events will be utilized.

INITIAL ACTION:  On Monday March 13, 2017 we had a release from the injection line to AC McLaughlin 12 of 10.1 bbls injection water and no visible oil. We recovered 5 bbls of injection water. The area was water washed and samples will be taken to ensure compliance with table 910-1. A soil sample location map and preliminary analytical results are included as an attachment.

RECLAMATION PLAN:  Site will be reclaimed and seeded once repairs are completed.

SOURCE REMOVED:  Preliminary soil samples were collected on April 20, 2017 from the spill path. A total of eight (8) grab samples analyzed for Table 910-1 parameters were collected at a depths from 0 to 6 inches below ground surface (ft-bgs). Results show elevated SAR and EC levels within the impacted area. Subsequent soil samples analyzed for SAR and EC at the SS1-SS5 sample locations were collected on August 12, 2020 to monitor natural attenuation.
