| Spill Description: |
| The release was discovered on 5/28/2026, and was caused by internal corrosion in the 6 oclock position of the tank battery drain valve. The release occurred within berms but in an unlined containment. The line was shut in and the tank was drained to eliminate the source. The drain valve was replaced. Upon discovery of the release crews were immediately dispatched and free product was removed to mitigate migration. Remedial excavation has begun and once completed confirmation soil samples will be collected in accordance with the guidance to ensure impacts have been fully delineated vertically and horizontally. Groundwater at this location is at approximately 38' bgs, based off a groundwater monitoring well at a neighboring location. |
