The release has been controlled, and a crew has been scheduled for surface cleanup. The impacted soil will be removed and hauled for disposal. Confirmation soil samples will be collected and submitted in compliance with ECMC Table 915-1.
Because this is a crude oil release, a request for an amended sampling and analysis plan to only include TPH C6-C36 and organics is being made. Additionally due to the surficial nature of this spill and the documented depth to ground water in the area over 100 feet, the use of RSSL is also being requested.
