if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | 39027 | | | | Spill Description: | | After decommissioning of the Jillson 1 wellhead, one soil sample was collected at the wellhead & four soil samples were collected from the sidewalls in each cardinal direction & one sample was collected from a directional flowline change southeast of the wellhead in April 2025. The samples were field screened using a calibrated PID & results ranged from 5.7 to 38.4 ppm (see Table 4). Visible signs of soil contamination and groundwater was not present at the time of sample collection. The six samples were submitted for the full Table 915.1 analysis. Laboratory results were received on May 19, 2025 & upon review, TPH exceeded Table 915.1 protection of groundwater standards in samples SS-1 and SS-5. Historical data (December 2024) from nearby wells indicates that groundwater is approximately 8-feet below site grades. KPK will excavate the soil impacts at the SS-1 & SS-5 locations & resample to confirm if hydrocarbons are below Table 915.1 Protection of Groundwater Soil Screening Levels. | | |
