| Spill Description: |
| At approximately 3am, the valve on the LACT feed line from the surge tank broke apart due to freezing water. Petro Operating's contractor discovered the leak at 5am and immediately shut in the production and isolated the leak. Approximately 70 bbls of oil was released; 65 bbls of oil within secondary containment and approximately and ~5bbls outside of containment. All free fluids have been removed with a Hydrovac. Clean-up efforts ongoing. |
