if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | 36700 | | | | Spill Description: | | Results for laboratory analytical data collected on September 5th, 2024, at the separator dump line for the Durham 41-5 tank battery exhibited an exceedance for Table 915. One soil sample, SEP01-DL-B, exceeded ECMC standards for 1-methylnaphthalene at 0.00880 mg/kg. Field observations did not observe soil staining or olfactory indicators, and sample re-analysis was requested by the contractor to confirm the exceedance. The laboratory analytical results for the re-analysis were non-detect. The exceedance for the sample collected on September 5th was brought to Chevron’s attention and was subsequently confirmed on October 31, 2024. Chevron contacted the ECMC area supervisor, Kyle Waggoner immediately and started the notification/reporting process. Chevron has scheduled to resample all separator sample points full Table 915. | | |
