| Spill Description: |
| A suspect surface soil staining area was discovered by KPK while conducting site activities and was reported to the production manager. Upon investigation, the spill originated from a leak in the flowline. The flowline and well were already shut-in at the time of discovery. There are minimal liquids associated with this spill. The surface staining was approximately 25 square feet (5’x5’). While excavating to the line during initial investigation, KPK determined that the hole in the line lies east of the area where the spill was expressed at the surface. KPK is currently excavating to determine the point of failure on the line while removing contaminated soil for disposal. |
