| Laboratory analytical indicated a historical release occurred at the Lower Latham 3-1G decommissioned wellhead. Four soil samples exceeded ECMC standards for benzene at 0.462 mg/kg, ethylbenzene at 5.35 mg/kg, naphthalene at 0.970 mg/kg, TPH at 1,248 mg/kg, 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene at 24.8 mg/kg, 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene at 9.50 mg/kg, 1-methylnaphthalene at 6.45 mg/kg, and 2-methylnaphthalene at 1.26 mg/kg. Additionally, one groundwater sample exceeded ECMC standards for benzene at 387 ug/L, ethylbenzene at 996 ug/L, xylenes at 1090 ug/L, 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene at 1,540 ug/L, and 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene at 694 ug/L. This location lies within a Bald Eagle Roost Site high priority habitat. |
