if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | A small hole near the bottom of the condensate tank resulted in the release of an estimated 40 bbls of fluid into the lined, metal secondary containment structure. All of the fluid was recovered from the lined, secondary containment structure. A small pin-hole leak in the liner was identified and patched. The soils near the location of the pin hole leak were investigated, but no evidence of contamination was found. The containment structure will be flushed our with hot water and a cleaning agent to remove any residue remaining on the interior of the liner. The tank will be replaced with a new, internally-coated tank. | | |
