| On 2/26/2026, the potential presence of impacted material(s) was identified via hydrocarbon odor and/or hydrocarbon staining during decommissioning activities at the SCHANK J-65N66W 35SENE tank battery. Sample PWV02-B and PWV01-B were collected under the former produced water vessel. Initial soil sampling is underway to determine whether any constituents are present at levels in excess of Table 915-1 standards. Partial laboratory analytical data indicated PWV01-B exceeded ECMC Table 915 standards for 1-Methyl-Naphthalene at 0.007 mg/kg. Groundwater was not encountered during decommissioning activities. This location is within 300 feet of waters of the state and is within the Mule Deer Winter Concentration Area, Mule Deer Severe Winter Range, and Mule Deer Migration Corridor. This location is located within the municipality of Evans. Final analytical results from initial soil sampling will be included on a Supplemental Form 19. |
