if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | On 11/03/25, TEP water management personnel discovered a valve can was leaking produced water at the Riley Tank Farm facility. TEP personnel immediately isolated the transfer line and called for a vac truck to begin removing water from the valve can. Approximately 60 bbls of produced water was contained inside the valve can and was recovered with the vac truck. An additional 2 bbls of produced water leaked outside of the valve can but all water remained on the pad within a few feet of the valve can. A vac truck was also used to recover soils impacted outside the valve can. The cause of the spill is a failed valve on a 10-inch poly transfer line. The defective valve has been replaced, and all impacted soils have been removed. Soil samples have been collected to confirm compliance with 915-1 cleanup standards. Analytical results will be submitted via a Supplemental Form 19 Spill Report once data have been received from the lab. | | |
