| On 04/04/2025, Wertz Federal 35-12 wellhead decommissioning activities were completed. During the completion of the activities, no potential presence of impacted material(s) was observed/smelled. Consistent with Rule 912, samples were collected and analyzed to determine whether any constituents are present at levels in excess of Table 915-1 standards. Final laboratory analytical results received on 05/27/2025, indicate that soil sample, WH-01-S, discovered at the wellhead excavation, exceeded ECMC Table 915 standards for Naphthalene at 0.00848 mg/kg, 1-Methyl-Naphthalene at 0.0176 mg/kg, and 2-Methyl-Naphthalene at 0.0494 mg/kg. Groundwater was not encountered during decommissioning activities. Operator was notified by the consultant of this release on 08/22/2025 and acknowledges that this notification is not being submitted within 24 hours of the discovery date. All data collected will be submitted with the next quarterly Supplemental Form 27 for REM 25466. |
