| During P&A operations on 4/24/2025 at 12:30pm, KPK encountered a historical release at the wellhead of the Jillson 5. The well had been previously shut in, cut, and capped. Groundwater is likely impacted and is present at 7' depth. KPK has utilized a vac truck to skim product from the groundwater in the excavation. KPK plans to excavate the remaining soil contamination, collect laboratory analytical soil samples, and will propose a groundwater monitoring plan in a supplemental form 27. |
