The spill was contained entirely on pad and was cleaned up immediately. The spill was originally reported to CDPHE on 2/28/2025 via the Colorado 24 hour spill reporting hotline, however, after review of the incident during a root cause analysis, it was determined that based on the location of the spill, this should have been reported to ECMC. The impacted soil has been removed, and confirmation soil samples will be collected and submitted in compliance with ECMC Table 915-1. Due to the release being strictly crude oil, Crestone requests to amend the sampling and analysis plan to include TPH (C6-C36) and Organic Compounds in Soils. | | |
