| Spill Description: |
| While conducting tank battery removal activities at the Markhm 34 35 13-8 production facility, historically impacted soil was discovered at the separator outlet. The volume of the release is unknown. Per historically approved assessment activities, on 10/10/24, sample SEP01-OUTLET@3' was collected from the separator outlet & analyzed for full Table 915-1. Initial results indicated a naphthalene exceedance. A verification sample was collected to verify the initial results. Final results indicated the concentration at the separator is in compliance with Table 915-1 & therefore a Form 19 Report was not submitted. Per updated ECMC guidance, verification sampling of organic exceedances is not considered valid. KMOG has prepared this Form 19 Report to report the initial naphthalene exceedance. Assessment activities are ongoing. The assessment details will be summarized in a supplemental Form 27 report (Rem# 36540; Form 27 Initial Doc# 403849127).
