| On 1/28/2025 a portion of the above ground (inside tank containment) oil tank recycle line froze and split. throughout the heating of the day the recycle line started leaking due to thawing of fluid inside the line. The contents of the line and approximately 27bbls of an oil tank leaked inside containment. The secondary containment had a small hole and approximately 1bbl leaked outside containment. When the Verdad Operator came onto location he discovered the leak and isolated the tank and recycle line stopping the active leak. A vac truck was dispatched to suck up all free liquids and a roustabout crew was called to start cleaning up the contaminated soil outside of containment. |
