| On January 23, 2025 at approximately 10:40 am, Oxy notified KPK that during their excavation/remediation operations a flowline was damaged (KIEFER GEORGE W UT B-1N67W/14SWSE, Location ID: 335610) which runs from the wellhead, north to the Keifer George, Steiber Consolidation Line. The strike occurred at approximately 40.0454985, -104.8553163 and free-product flowed into an existing excavation dug by Oxy. Oxy’s excavation reached groundwater during their remediation efforts. Since the flowline was compromised and estimated 10bbls or more of free product has contacted groundwater. KPK immediately responded and closed the valve feeding the line. KPK mobilized a vac truck to the facility and began skimming free-product from the groundwater surface. The spill location is not within any high priority habitat zones.
