if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | 39355 | | | | Spill Description: | | On 10/28/2024 at 9:30 am, the day shift lease operator was conducting a site inspection at the Open Range pad and heard a hissing sound coming from the aboveground piping. The lease operator found oil on the ground and oil coming from the insulated aboveground pipe. He immediately shut in the wells and reported the spill to the supervisor. A vacuum truck was used to recover the liquids, and a crew was called in to remove and dispose of the contaminated soil. Absorbent diapers were used to recover any residual oil. A welder was called in for repairs. | | |
