if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | A compromised valve resulted in the overflow of a concrete pit and resulted in greater than 5 BBL of oil to spill entirely inside secondary lined containment. There are currently no impacts to the ground surface. A transport was immediately dispatched to begin bottoming out the concrete pit and recover as much fluid as possible. Any remaining pooled fluid and impacted ballast material will be removed and hauled for disposal under waste manifest. The integrity of the liner will be inspected and confirmed to be in good condition prior to requesting closure. If the liner appears to be compromised, confirmation soil samples will be collected and submitted in compliance with ECMC Table 915-1. | | |
