| Spill Description: |
| The release was discovered during the morning hours of 2/14/2024. An estimated volume of 25 bbls of crude, and 25 bbls of produced water was released from the off location flowline that was exposed from another excavation that was being prepared for backfill. The release was contained inside of the current excavation, and the cause of the release was a pinhole in the line caused by corrosion. All wells going to the CPB were shut in and the line was isolated. A Vac truck was dispatched to the location to begin clean up. A baseline source soil sample will be collected to identify constituents of concern. Following remediation confirmation soil samples will be collected. |
