| Spill Description: |
| On January 17, 2024, approximately 1 barrel (bbl) of oil-based drilling mud taken from the Aggregate Recycling Facility location was released outside of secondary containment during transportation. The release occurred due to an improperly closed valve on the truck that was transporting the oil-based drilling mud. The entire 1 bbl of oil-based drilling mud was released onto the lease road associated with the Kerr-McGee Aggregate Recycle Facility. The release has been controlled and cleanup activities are in progress. Site assessment activities are currently ongoing and additional details, including photo documentation, will be provided in a forthcoming Form 19-Supplemental Spill/Release Report within 10-days of the discovery date.
