He assessed the situation and determined it was safe to proceed on location and shut the master valve. A trend of the automation showed a drop in pressure on the wellhead at 05:30 that morning. Resulting in an event that lasted ~1 hour and 20 minutes. Based on production history it was determined that ~2 BBLs were likely released as a fine mist during the event. | | |
