if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | On 10/23/2023, at approximately 12:30p, FEO lease operator noticed fluid on ground at the Oxbow 0880 location. The lease operator immediately shut in the site. He then discovered a pin-hole leak from corrosion in the above-ground pipe. The leak did not leave the location. A nearby weir gate was closed at the time and spill is contained to the location. Clean up began immediately. Vac trucks were called to begin sucking up the oil. Absorbent materiel was laid down to capture any other fluid and contaminants. The wastes have been disposed of properly. Soil samples are scheduled for 10/25/2023. | | |
