if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | 37087 | | | | Spill Description: | | Release detected on the south side of the Hingley #1 wellsite. The spill was discovered by the pumper based on oil observed at the ground surface. The surface staining/oil area is approximately 400 sf. Surface staining and oil has been scraped at the surface in the areas downgradient of the release point and transported offsite for disposal.
The flowline from the Hingley #2 comes into this location south of the separator. The release point is off location and is believed to be the flowline from the Hingley #2 well site. This is not yet confirmed. A consolidated line also enters the location near this release point. Crews are currently scraping oil and soil from the surface and digging down to expose the pipes. The flow lines in the area have been shut-in and blown down while we investigate the release.
We will notify the land owner and the LGD.
