| On 1/15/23 at 8:21am the pumper reported that the production tanks were overflowing and the berms were full. The two wells were shut in. Weber Water Service (vac truck was called at 8:22am. The 390 bbl water was pulled off of production tanks, 90 bbl water from berm and 40 bbl oil from berm. All water was taken to the Wear SWD and the oil was put back in production tank 291336. (estimate 190 bbl oil in berm). On 1/16/23, removed remaining free standing oil from berm.
1/17/23: Wash up berms with hot oil truck an fresh water.
In total, returned 149 bbl of oil to production tank 291336 and 40 bbl oil to reclaim tank.
The release was caused when the shut off valve on the free water knock out came apart and plugged the water dump line. |
