Upon arriving he found produced water in the secondary containment. He assessed the tanks and found corrosion on the man-way of the tank heater. He isolated the tank that had failed and called in water trucks to remove the residual fluid from the failed tank and the secondary containment. The truck arrived in time to drain the tank before any condensate made it to the level of the hole. All E&P fluid was confined within the secondary containment. 20 BBLs of produced water were recovered from the secondary containment by the water truck. | | |
