The line failure caused the release of approximately 8 barrels of oil inside unlined secondary containment. The tank has been drained, and fluid recovery is underway. Due to knowledge that the released material was exclusively hydrocarbon fluids, Crestone proposes to submit all soil and groundwater samples associated with this release investigation for analysis of Table 915-1 organic constituents of concern.
