if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | At approximately 09:44 it was reported to EHS on call through the OCC that a tank failure had occurred on the 35B production tank battery. The Lease Operator arrived on location to find a hole in the base of the tank and fluid draining into the containment. The tank had a level of 3 feet 1 inch the day prior, when the operator arrived the tank level had dropped to approximately 6 inches. An estimated 60 bbls of fluid was lost into the containment. A water truck was dispatched to pull the remaining fluid from the tank and recover any available free liquid. | | |
