if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | As part of the well and flowline P&A process developed under REM # 19004, impacts around well head were identified. A total of 12 test pits were excavated to various depths on and off location to further delineate the nature and extent of hydrocarbon impacts. Impacts were identified visually and olfactory as well as with a PID and were found to be at depths ranging between 6 to 10 feet below ground surface. Impacts appear to have remained on location and further migration was impeded by an extremely hard shale layer which begins around 10 feet below ground surface. The approximate impact boundary is shown on the attached Fig. 1. | | |
