| Spill Description: |
| Water dump on the treater failed and produced all the produced water to the crude tank; the crude overflowed the tank from the thief hatch into containment. The earthern berm breached at the NE corner and the crude flowed to the N and NE toward the wellhead. We mobilized a skidster and created soil berms to stop and contain the spill. We are mobilizingt a hydrovac truck to suck up the oil from the surface and plan to over excavate the spill area and properly disposed of contaminated soil. Once contaminated soil is removed we will conduct confirmation soil sampling. No surface water was impacted. |
