if work proceeding under an approved Form 27: | N/A | | | | Spill Description: | | A pin-hole leak was discovered near the bottom of the condensate tank, which released an estimated 120 bbls into an earthen secondary containment structure. Immediately upon discovery, the leak was plugged and the tank was emptied. No fluids could be recovered. There were no visible impacts on the slope immediately below the secondary containment structure / well pad. The cause of the tank failure is due to internal corrosion of the tank. The impacted soils will be remediated to comply with COGCC 910-1 cleanup standards, and impacted soils will be sent to an off-site commercial disposal facility. There will be no on-site land-farming. | | |
