| Spill Description: |
| Due to below freezing temperatures, ice formed inside the heater treater vessel bottom causing a leak. Produced water and crude oil leaked into the bermed secondary containment and the wind blew a small amount (<1 bbl) out of the secondary containment. Upon discovery COGCC and the surface owner were notified and a vacuum truck and roustabout crew were called in to dispose of the oil, water and contaminated soil. |
